Ab Ostromap Oy perustettiin kesäkuussa 2000. Pääasiallinen tehtävämme oli kartoittaa ja dokumentoida johtoja ja kaapeleita niitä omistaville tahoille Pietarsaaren alueella. Johtokarttaa ylläpidettiin yhteisessä Xcity-tietokannassa. Tietokannan kasvaessa ja muuttuessa yhä kattavammaksi toimeksiantajamme halusi, että suoritamme heille myös kaapelinäytön maastossa. Rakennus- ja maarakennusalan mittaustarpeet mahdollistivat kasvun ja tarvitsimme lisähenkilökuntaa. Vuonna 2004 investoimme 3D-laserskanneriin, joka mahdollisti teollisuusrakentamisen tehokkaat 3D-mittaukset ja -dokumentoinnin. Vuonna 2009 olimme ensimmäistä kertaa tekemisissä koneohjauksen ja SCANLASER/Leica Geosystemsin kanssa. Sittemmin olemme saaneet olla tiiviisti mukana kehityksessä, ja voimme tätä nykyä tarjota maarakennusalan yrittäjälle mahdollisuuden teknologian hyödyntämiseen projektin koosta riippumatta. Teemme malleja, kehitämme tarkkuuden valvontaa sekä annamme käyttäjätukea kuljettajille. Hallitsemme kaikki Suomessa tunnetut koneohjausjärjestelmät.
