ABPA is the national association of poultry and pork production and exports in Brazil. ABPA represents the sectors in national and international forums ensuring the quality, sanity and sustainability of products, promoting the integration of the entire production chain. Through several initiatives, ABPA promotes the sectorial technological development, professionalization and expansion of the productive sector in the domestic and international markets. ABPA also works to create new opportunities for the productive sector through international negotiations, institutional relations with stakeholders in Brazil and abroad, actions to open markets and other initiatives. ABPA is also the sponsor, in partnership with Apex-Brasil, of the Sectorial Projects Brazilian Chicken, Brazilian Egg and Brazilian Pork. The objective is promoting the international and business in chickens, pigs and eggs exports. It is also ABPA's SIAVS, the most complete event of poultry and pork production in Brazil, with the largest fair and programming lectures of the sectors. The SIAVS was considered the main political meeting of these sectors in the country, with the presence of governors, ministers, senators, deputies, mayors, secretaries, national and sector leaders, and the most influential names of business, technical and other Brazilian agribusiness.
