MISSIE BAF is de toekomstgerichte beroepsvereniging van en voor Vlaams-Brabantse officina-apothekers en hun team. BAF ondersteunt zijn leden in de uitoefening van hun beroep door performante dienstverlening, proactieve beroepsontwikkeling en optimale vertegenwoordiging. VISIE BAF werkt aan haar missie als een open vereniging, met de ondersteuning van een professioneel team en met de focus op de toekomst. Die focus richt zich op vier evenwaardige pijlers: 1. Samenwerking tussen apothekers onderling, tussen zorgverstrekkers in de eerstelijn, tussen apothekersverenigingen onderling en tussen apothekersverenigingen, universiteiten, overheden en andere organisaties in de gezondheidszorg 2. Proactieve ondersteuning van de leden in hun veranderende rol als verstrekkers van Farmaceutische Zorg, 3. Ontwikkeling en promotie van geïntegreerde zorg rond de patiënt met het oog op gezondheidswinst en kost-effectiviteit, 4. Een duurzaam economisch model voor de apotheek. Elk jaar stelt het bestuur prioriteiten op basis van die visie. En zo bepalen we de doelstellingen en de strategie waar we aan zullen werken.
