Bingham University located in Karu, 25 kilometres from the Federal Capital city of Nigeria Abuja, was established in 2005 by the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) as a Conventional University. It is one of the six private universities in the north and the only one established by a Christian organisation. The main purpose of ECWA was to meet the daring need for high quality Secular Education which recognises and integrates the moral and spiritual values on which the Christian faith is founded as well as focuses on entrepreneurial studies in order to promote self-reliance among graduates of the University.

The Binghamton Philharmonic is the Southern Tier’s largest and longest-serving professional symphony orchestra. Maestro Daniel Hege became Principal Guest Conductor in 2016 and was appointed Music Director in 2018. In 2024, the Binghamton Philharmonic was awarded the American Prize for Orchestral Performance, which recognized the ensemble's artistic excellence among American professional symphony orchestras. The Binghamton Philharmonic serves up to 10,000 people annually through innovative, engaging, and affordable programming, meeting its mission of “Building Community Through the Power of Live Music.”

Binghamton University Marketing Association, best known as BUMA, is a co-curricular club that offers students of all majors the opportunity to learn about marketing and develop their marketing skills. BUMA hosts a number of events each semester, including networking sessions, guest speaker meetings, and projects with local businesses, to expose students to the many opportunities available in Marketing. The club's newest event, Marketing Night lets students connect with employers from major marketing firms, and increases the presence of marketing on Binghamton University's campus. In terms of community outreach, BUMA looks to aid community projects in need of marketing or rebranding, to not only help the local community, but also gain hands on experience in marketing. By creating a network of students and alumni with a shared interest in this field, BUMA hopes to help its members have passion in their professional goals and achieve great success in their future!
