Biosint S.p.A. è una Chemical – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company, costituita nel 1979, azienda italiana leader nel settore dei produttori di materie prime farmacologicamente attive per uso umano e veterinario, società controllata da Alfasigma S.p.A.. Le nostre attività produttive vengono svolte su due aree adiacenti situate nella zona industriale di Sermoneta (LT): la superficie complessiva ammonta a circa 130.000 m2, di cui 18.000 m2 coperti. Abbiamo un settore dedicato alla produzione di materie prime per uso farmaceutico, un altro destinato alla fabbricazione di fermenti lattici e ingredienti attivi per uso nutraceutico, con linee e reparti di produzione, completamente dedicati e autonomi. Inoltre, recentemente abbiamo realizzato un nuovo reparto, autorizzato dall’AIFA, dove sono già state completate le prove di industrializzazione di un nuovo processo che permette di produrre Fermenti Lattici come materie prime e loro miscele in bulk entrambi di grado farmaceutico. I nostri impianti, oltre alle classiche operazioni di concentrazione, cristallizzazione, centrifugazione, essiccamento, nonché di liofilizzazione, miscelazione e confezionamento, consentono anche delle attività non facilmente riscontrabili in altri siti analoghi, come l’utilizzo di resine a scambio ionico di diverse tipologie (anche in fase liquida) e di impianti di elettrodialisi anche su scala pilota.

The company was founded in Zagreb, Croatia in 1989 under the name Analitika d.o.o., since when it acts as an exclusive distributor of Perkin Elmer, one of the leading manufacturers of analytical laboratory equipment. At the same time the focus and the activities of Perkin Elmer becomes the development and production of products in the field of molecular biology. With the acquisition of Applied Biosystems in early nineties, molecular techniques such as PCR, qPCR and sequencing are gaining more importance in life science research. At that time Perkin Elmer is being entirely devoted to the production of molecular biology products, which results in leaving the analytical equipment program. This change is also reflected in the business management of Analitika d.o.o. company, which eventually changes its name to Biosistemi d.o.o. In order to provide optimum support for customers in the Western Balkans region, Vivogen d.o.o. company is being established in 2004 in Belgrade, Serbia and shortly after that, Biosistemi Grupa d.o.o. company is gaining a license to act in the Western Balkans region as a parent business organization in the following countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia and Serbia. Furthermore, Biosistemi MK d.o.o.e.l. has been founded in Skopje, Macedonia in year 2010, and Biosistemi BiH d.o.o. in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina in year 2011. Following the events that occurred gradually, Biosistemi Grupa now works with and distributes famous brands such as Applied Biosystems, Invitrogen, Gibco, Ion Torrent, Oxoid, Acrometrix, LSI and others who are now reunited under the name of the new world leader in serving science - Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Parallel to the designing activities, BiosNike takes care of all procedures and compliance topics related to the authorization of the above-mentioned plants, such as: Assessments of Implications (as of the Habitat Directive 92/43/EEC, and Birds Directive 2009/147/EC), Environmental Impact Assessments (as of Directives 2011/92/EU and 2014/52/EU), Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (as of the IPPC Directives 1996/61/EU and 2010/75/EU), compliance to the national regulation on renewable energy producers, national constraints, etc. BiosNike is also active in industrial Research & Development related to both knowledge and technology development in the fields of waste treatment, chemical/biological processes, and process automation & control.
