The BBI has over 160 academics and industry experts, coming from more than 20 countries, who cover the key management topics across the Life Sciences’ industry: Our areas of expertise cover corporate finance, market access and healthcare economics, as well as preclinical and clinical regulatory requirements, medical technologies, technology transfer and entrepreneurship, organisational behaviour and developing an understanding of global strategies for new drug approvals.

Biotechspert is an advanced analytics platform revolutionising consultancy in the healthcare and life sciences sector. Using machine learning technology Biotechspert facilitates rapid, reliable and direct access to world-leading technical, scientific and commercial expertise. David Holden-White and Graham Mills founded Biotechspert in 2016, based on their frustration with current solutions to the problem that are long-winded and labour-intensive.

Biotech Vana SL (Biotechvana) is a SME in bioinformatics and computational biology created in 2006 as a spin-off of the Instituto Cavanilles at the University of Valencia. The Enterprise is managed by researchers for researchers and covers a variety of bioinformatic services including data analysis, know-how, cloud computing, software & database programming.

In 2019 we delivered one of the world’s largest living walls. Measuring 25,000 square feet and featuring 120,000 plants, the wall was part of the expansion to McArthurGlen’s Designer Outlet in Ashford. We also installed the UK’s first highway living walls to reduce air pollution at one of Southampton’s busiest roundabouts. And, since 2019, our living walls proudly adorn the Big Screen at Wimbledon’s No.1 Court. Bioteknologirådet er et frittstående, rådgivende organ som er oppnevnt av Regjeringen og hjemlet i lov om framstilling og bruk av genmodifiserte organismer (genteknologiloven) og i lov om humanmedisinsk bruk av bioteknologi m.m. (bioteknologiloven). Bioteknologirådet er en høringsinstans for norske myndigheter i forbindelse med saker som vedrører moderne bioteknologi. Bioteknologirådet skal bidra med informasjon til publikum og forvaltningen, og fremme debatt omkring de etiske og samfunnsmessige konsekvensene ved bruk av moderne bioteknologi. Navnet Bioteknologirådet ble tatt i bruk 1. juni 2014. Tidligere het vi Bioteknologinemnda.
