The Australasian Birth Trauma Association (ABTA) is a not-for-profit organisation that exists to increase community and professional understanding of the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of birth-related trauma (meaning the birth results in physical and/or psychological injuries), whilst supporting affected families. 1 in 3 women identify their birth as traumatic, of those women one in 20 will go on to develop symptoms of post-traumatic stress and 1 in 4 will sustain major physical trauma. Since our inception in the Greater Boston area in 2002 Birthing Gently has been committed to supporting families through their labor and birth, and assisting them as they transition into early parenthood. Through our expansion we are now offering services in NYC and New Orleans. The services we offer are provided by trained, experienced, professional doulas. Our belief is that every family should have a satisfying birth experience. Whether you are planning a home birth, water birth, hospital birth or scheduled cesarean section, Birthing Gently will provide you with the judgment free, evidence-based educational, physical and emotional support that you deserve! Birthing Gently is known for its specialization and support with high risk patients.

The Birthing Kit Foundation (Australia) is a humanitarian organisation that provides birthing kits and education in clean birthing practices to women birthing at home in remote regions of the developing world. We work in partnership with the Australian Community and a number of Global Organisations to pack and supply Clean Birth Kits to pregnant women living in rural communities and low-resource settings around the world. To date, 2.4 million Clean Birth Kits have been distributed to women in need. Kits are given to mothers through community outreach programs, supplied to health facilities for use by doctors, midwives and nurses or distributed to traditional birthing attendants. They are designed to support hygienic practices and environments during childbirth in under-resourced settings.

Birthing Tree is a labor and postpartum doula collective serving the greater emerald coast. We offer labor and postpartum doula services, placenta services, lactation support, belly binding, vaginal steams, and holistic health consults for the whole family. We are a one-stop family wellness center.
