Bloodylicious nasce dallesigenza di creare un sistema di economia circolare che coinvolge lindustria della moda promuovendo il riuso, il riciclo e lutilizzo di materie prime biologiche. Raccogliamo e trasformiamo gli scarti di lavorazione di laboratori e aziende che operano nellindustria tessile. Un attento lavoro artigianale sugli scarti recuperati dà vita a toppe di forme e colori sempre diversi che, applicate su tshirt di matrice biologica certificata, creano prodotti unici e irripetibili. La toppa è in linea con il concetto di recupero, perché rattoppare è unantica pratica contadina attraverso cui si ridava nuova vita ad abiti, calzature e vestiti. Bloodylicious vuole riscoprire questa tradizione come risposta culturale ad uno sfrenato consumismo usa e getta che impatta sullambiente. Questo è reso possibile, da un lato, recuperando scarti tessili che oggi finiscono nel rifiuto indifferenziato, nonostante lenorme consumo di risorse necessarie a produrre le materie prime; dallaltro, usando come base delle lavorazioni t-shirt di cotone biologico. I valori a cui ci ispiriamo sono: eco-compatibilità, riciclo/riuso, circolarità virtuosa tra i vari attori del settore tessile, sensibilizzazione ed informazione del consumatore. Nellottica di offrire un contributo allo sviluppo di modelli sostenibili e poco impattanti sullambiente, Bloodylicious vuole creare un circuito-distretto ecofriendly-wear, in cui aziende del settore possano entrare in un sistema virtuoso che prevede la donazione di scarti di lavorazione evitando che finiscano nel rifiuto indifferenziato. Il raggiungimento di determinati quantitativi conferiti durante lanno si trasforma in un bonus comunicativo in favore dellazienda virtuosa sul circuito dei clienti Bloodylicious. La nostra mission è ridurre limpatto ambientale ed aumentare il riuso e il riciclo, creando prodotti belli dal punto di vista del design, unici che hanno una storia da raccontare.
