Set up in 1991 by Albert Teo and with over thirty seven years of experience in the tourism industry and trekked over 1,000 km in Borneo, to provide tailored made tours in nature-based tourism and eco tours in Malaysian Borneo.The company is staffed by 103 well trained personnel in the BET group of companies and with a fleet of 19 air-conditioned vehicles, 5 semi-cabin powerboat boats and 7 river boats equipped with outboard engines and electric motor. The company is headquartered in Kota Kinabalu with offices in Sandakan and Sukau. Borneo Eco Tours group also operates the award winning 20-room ecolodge Sukau Rainforest Lodge (1995) in Sukau which played host to the delegates for post conference tours of the World Ecotourism Conference in 1999, the WWF Annual Conference 1999 in Kota Kinabalu, the first Asia Pacific Ecotourism Conference or APeco2002 and Borneo Ecotourism Conference BEC2005 and Asia Pacific Ecotourism Conference or APeco2014 convened by Albert Teo.

We have been raising funds for rescued Bornean orangutans since 2001. We are totally dependent on the support of the public to help save these critically endangered red apes and their rainforest home. We ensure the vital support from our donors goes to where funds are needed the most – to the orangutans in Indonesia. To date we have raised fund to help release over 450 orangutans and are caring for over 450 orangutans at our centres in Borneo.

Established in 1991, the Borneo Orangutan Survival (BOS) Foundation is an Indonesian non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of the Bornean orangutan and its habitat, in cooperation with local communities, the Indonesian Ministry of Forestry and international partner organizations.

Bornholm Hotels is a hotel community of Rønnes three biggest hotels: Green Solution House (Hotel GSH), Fredensborg Badehotel and Griffen Spahotel. Hotel GSH, Fredensborg Badehotel and Griffen Spahotel are all owned by C.E. Mogensens Fond. Among other things, the foundation aims to develop the three hotels to create jobs and the development of the whole of Bornholm. The foundation thus reinvests all profits in the hotels in order to constantly create even more sustainable development for the benefit of both guests and the Bornholm community.
