Boys' Haven is a non-profit, non-sectarian, charitable institution. We are licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. We receive funding from the state, United Way, grants, and individual donors. Boys' Haven is a general residential operation that serves boys ages 5 to 17 and provides a port for stormy times in boy's lives. Many of these boys come from single parent homes and are in need of a more structured environment. Several of them are here long term and plan to stay with us until they graduate high school. Boys' Haven also accepts referrals from Juvenile Probation Departments and the Department of Family and Protective Services. Our program is based on the principles of discipline and hard work rather than punishment, a program where natural consequences occur and privileges are earned. It was the community that believed "every boy deserves a home," and we have continued the mission for over sixty years by keeping that dream alive for all young men who need our help.

Weitere wichtige Bausteine unserer Zukunftsstrategie sind die Herstellung von Energiespeichern (Redox-Flow-Batteriesysteme) und Brennstoffzellen sowie die Grundlagen- und Produktentwicklung im Bereich der Batterie- und Wasserstofftechnologie. In diesem Zusammenhang errichten wir derzeit in Simmersfeld ein neues Entwicklungszentrum und sind darüber hinaus auch als Partnerunternehmen in den landesweiten Forschungskooperationen "Brennstoffzelle BW" und "Elektromobilität Süd-West" vertreten. Als Systempartner stehen wir außerdem für innovative Lösungen bei der Realisierung neuer Entwicklungs-, Erprobungs-, Produktions- und Logistikkonzepte. Unter anderem war Boysen 1994 der weltweit erste Abgastechnikhersteller, der das heute noch wegweisende Prinzip der Just-in-Sequence-Fertigung und -Lieferung kompletter Abgasanlagen eingeführt hat. Im Geschäftsjahr 2023 hat die Boysen Gruppe einen Umsatz in Höhe von 3,4 Milliarden Euro erzielt. Aktuell beschäftigen wir rund 5.300 Mitarbeiter an weltweit 28 Standorten.

Main activities for 3 decades solid fuels (firewoods|charcoal|pellet|briquettes). 2003 we acquired a new warehouse at the suburbs of Thessaloniki near the airport. 2004 expand our business in Barbecues, Garden furniture, Accessories, Stoves at our new premises. 2009 created our official web page named www.firestuff.gr . 2011 add e-shop to our site. 2013 we decided to support our BBQ business and created an expert BBQ Store.
