The Baltimore Area Council, Boy Scouts of America is one of the largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations in Central Maryland. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship and develops personal fitness. Founded in 1963 and designated the State Theater of Maryland in 1978, Baltimore Center Stage provides the highest quality theater and programming for all members of our communities, including youth and families, under the leadership of Artistic Director Stephanie Ybarra. Baltimore Center Stage ignites conversations and imaginations by producing an eclectic season of professional productions across two mainstages and an intimate 99-seat theater, through engaging community programs, and with inspiring education programs. Baltimore City Community College (BCCC) is an accredited two-year, urban institution of higher education. With a main campus located on Liberty Heights Ave in West Baltimore, the College serves all Baltimore City residents through several instructional sites located throughout the city. The Baltimore Curriculum Project (BCP) is a nonprofit organization that operates public charter schools in Baltimore City. BCP converts underperforming, high-poverty schools into high-performing charter schools by implementing research-based instructional methods and providing customized professional development, performance monitoring, and other key program supports. Our Mission: To develop, successfully implement and spread an innovative, sustainable, and replicable model of educational reform that will improve student outcomes while effecting systemic change. In doing so, the Baltimore Curriculum Project will raise the educational standards and possibilities for disadvantaged youth, Baltimore City schools and the Baltimore City school system alike.

Founded in 2000, Baltimore Lab School offers an exceptional academic experience for bright, motivated students with learning disabilities and/or ADHD. BMC AND THE BRTB The Baltimore Regional Transportation Board is the federally designated Metropolitan Planning Organization for transportation planning in the Baltimore region. Locally elected executives of the BMC board also serve on the BRTB. The mayor of Annapolis and representatives of Queen Anne's County, the Maryland Departments of Transportation, the Environment, and Planning, as well as the Maryland Transit Administration also serve on the BRTB. The Baltimore Regional Housing Partnership (BRHP), a nonprofit organization, is the Regional Administrator for the Baltimore Housing Mobility Program. The Baltimore Housing Mobility Program has opened pathways to a better future for low-income families for nearly 15 years. BRHP currently provides over 4,000 low-income families expanded housing, educational, and employment options in opportunity areas across the Baltimore region. Each family that chooses to participate and completes the counseling program receives a Housing Choice Voucher, high-quality housing and financial counseling, and support in the transition to the new neighborhood and schools.
