De Broadwing TLC-9000 is in 2018 speciaal doorontwikkeld voor werkplekken en werkstations om o.a. aan de Europese norm NEN-EN 12464-1:2011 te voldoen. Deze Europese norm bepaald de specifieke eisen aan de hand van de werkzaamheden in binnenruimten voor een optimaal comfort en lichtprestatie. De normering houdt rekening met de verblindingsfactor (UGR), Lux waarden (hoeveelheid licht), gelijkmatigheid taakgebied (Uo) en kleurweergave (CRI - Ra). Los van deze wettelijke bepaling is het voor werknemers ook prettiger werken wanneer de verlichting in lijn staat met de werkzaamheden. Het is wetenschappelijk bewezen dat men een betere prestatie kan leveren met goede verlichting. Hierdoor heeft men een beter oriëntatie vermogen, minder vermoeidheid van de ogen en daardoor beter zicht.
