Bucyrus Railcar Repair, LLC is a leading rail services provider, specializing in mechanical operations and railcar repair. BRR operates from one large flagship repair shop (Bucyrus, Ohio) and three dozen customer and interchange locations as running repair agent for two Class I railroads and 25 shortline railroads. Bucyrus Railcar Repair-Bucyrus: Located in Bucyrus, Ohio, this facility is one of the five largest general freight railcar facilities in the nation and the premier NS-served repair facility. Dual served by both the NS (direct) and CFE (allowing access to the CSX in Lima, Ohio), it spans 60 acres with 330,000 square feet under roof, 38 repair spots, and holding capacity for 500 cars. The facility's capabilities include: heavy modification and wreck repair; new railcar assembly; parts fabrication; non-hazardous cleaning; multi-level certifications; exterior and interior blasting, painting and lining; mobile repair; storage; and, dismantling.
