Buffalo Seminary (SEM) is an independent day and boarding school for college-bound girls, located in the historic Elmwood Village neighborhood of Buffalo, NY. Buffalo Sewer is a New York State public benefit corporation created in 1935 to “relieve the Niagara River, Buffalo River, and Lake Erie from pollution by the sewage and waste of the city and relieving city from inadequate sanitary and stormwater drainage and for the sanitary disposal or treatment of the sewage thereof.” Buffalo Sewer may accept, treat and dispose of the sewage and waste of all municipal corporations in Erie County. THE BUFFALO SEWER SERVICE AREA The Buffalo Sewer collection system covers 110 square miles including the City of Buffalo and parts of the towns of Alden, Cheektowaga, Elma, Lancaster, Tonawanda, and West Seneca and the Villages of Depew, Lancaster and Sloan, as well as Erie County Sewer District Numbers 1 and 4. For more than 50 years, viewers have turned to member-supported WNED as a powerful and trusted resource. Today, WNED is a leading bi-national public broadcasting organization operating two television stations and two radio stations, all locally programmed. Programs and outreach explore and address interests relevant to the Buffalo and Toronto area. WNED-TV produces original documentaries for local and national audiences. BUFFALO TRANSPORT & WAREHOUSE DISTRIBUTION SERVICES is a complete warehouse operation servicing customers in Western New York and Southern Ontario, fully supported by its TL and LTL trucking operation to and from these same areas. Buffalo Transport Warehouse & Distribution Services was born out of the success of its parent trucking operation, Buffalo Transport. Buffalo Transport was opened in 1996 by Brian Kimmins, servicing all of Western New York. It then expanded its market area into Southern Ontario the following year. The growth of the company, and the many inquiries along the way from its large customer base for a warehouse service, prompted the birth of Buffalo Transport Warehouse and Distribution Services in the Autumn of 2001.
