Brampton Multicultural Community Centre is a group of diverse professionals dedicated to enhancing newcomer community engagement. Our agency was established in 1987 as a nonprofit organization to serve and work with newcomers to facilitate their settlement and integration into Canada. We offer a wide range of services and learning opportunities to connect newcomers to a better future in the ever changing Canadian society. We are the Association of professional Building Officials serving British Columbians since 1954. The term building official is often used for a professional providing building and plumbing plan review, filed monitoring, or inspections for any types of building construction. Building Officials ensure that construction of buildings meet the minimum acceptable building regulations established by the Province of British Columbia.

We actively work to improve the quality and performance of the Built Environment. Through our membership we represent the best interests of our 1300+ members who are engaged in building surveying in New Zealand. Through our Continuous Professional Development programme we offer quality training and events for building control staff, the building industry and anyone who is interested in building compliance and quality building outcomes. The Building Performance Institute, Inc., (BPI) is the nation's premier building performance credentialing, quality assurance and standards setting organization. BPI develops technical standards using an open, transparent, consensus-based process built on sound building science. BPI is approved by the American National Standards Institute, Inc. (ANSI) as an accredited developer of American National Standards. BPI offers the following: • National standards to ensure top quality, consistent protocols are being followed throughout the home performance and weatherization workforce • Certification of individuals in building analyst, heating, AC/heat pump, shell/envelope and multi-family designations • Accreditation of contracting companies committed to delivering quality home performance improvements • Quality assurance to verify conformance with BPI Standards and provide feedback for continuing improvement • Partnerships with testing organizations that deliver BPI services in their market
