Our Mission The mission of Barrett Foundation is to provide housing and supportive services to women and children who are striving to break the cycle of homelessness. Who We Serve Every day, homeless women and children turn to us for help. Most of them are here because of poverty and have sought temporary housing with family, in apartments, in motels, and in their cars. Other causes of homelessness include personal tragedy, trauma, mental illness, and substance abuse. Todays economy, particularly housing foreclosures, has had large effect on women and their children.

Barrett Hodgson University is an exciting new initiative established and supported by The Salim Habib Education Foundation. Located in Korangi spanning 6 acres of lush landscaping, a meditative environment and a purpose-built 5 storey academic block students can study away from the maddening crowd of Karachi. Offering a secure location, students will be able to study as well as participate in healthy activities as the institution houses a gymnasium with an indoor swimming pool, basketball court, squash courts, and other recreational facilities. Being quality-centric, BHU intends to induct highly talented students, faculty and staff, and in doing so aspires to become a top-tier institution in Pakistan in the selected disciplines it pursues.
