Whilst maintaining our position as market leader, Bell Group remains a family-owned and operated company. George Bell, now Chairman of Bell Group UK, started his career at the age of sixteen as an Apprentice Painter, working through every level of the trade until he took his first steps on the entrepreneurial ladder in April 1984. George, alongside his wife and lifetime business partner, Annette Bell, set up their own commercial painting firm, operating initially in the central belt of Scotland. Our Company continued to grow through acquisition and strategic expansion throughout the UK. We have created a unique structure ensuring a solid network of key personnel based at local branches who provide great support for our clients on a local basis, but who also have the strength, expertise and backup of a national organisation. Bell Lane was established in 2012 by Stephen & Denise Bell in Mullingar, Co Westmeath. We both desired to have our own business and a better life work balance for our young family. Stephen has built up considerable experience and skill working within the hotel and hospitality industry for five years and the coffee industry for seven years with one of Irelands leading coffee roasters. This is where his love of coffee began and his dream of starting his own business seemed possible. Stephen and Denise took on the challenge of setting up Bell Lane Coffee, seeking outside advice from experts within the industry and listening to his peers on how to structure a new start up business in this ever demanding climate. Denise had 10 years experience in AIB Finance & Leasing and a marketing degree from The University of Hartford, U.S.A. Bell lane was set up originally as a lifestyle business but now is embedded within the ever competitive commercial coffee market. We spent time and late nights developing a coffee brand that would compete with the larger players but stand out from the crowd and appeal to the mass market. Bell Lane is a coffee company with finesse and roasting style of the new 3rd wave coffee roasters. In addition to roasting coffee for our customers we stock a large range of coffee ancillaries, cleaning products, drink ancillaries. Bell lanes unique selling points are very much fore front of what we do as a company and have paved the way for our growth over the last 3 years. From our smooth full bodied round coffee to our unique individual roasting technique.
law practice
Whilst many firms now offer no win, no fee agreements for accident claims, Bell Lax broke the mould and pioneered no win, no fee litigation for all types of commercial and civil disputes. We have acted on no win, no fee agreements for cases ranging from consumer contract disputes to multi-million pound commercial litigation and everything in between. Following recent changes in the law, we now usually offer a "no win low fee" agreement. How does it work? We agree with you what is a win. We only get paid our full fees if you win. That way we share the risks with you and make your claim affordable for you. After years of conducting no win, no fee agreements our judgement is well respected and trusted. This means we can often also instruct a barrister on a similar basis too and arrange a no win, no premium litigation insurance policy where the premium is deferred to the end of the case, and only payable when you win. Why do we do no win, no fee? In return for sharing your risks we get paid more if you win. This is known as a success fee. We often find that other solicitors turn down good cases simply because a client cannot afford the litigation costs. Our years of experience enable us to assess a case at the outset and advise a client on the merits of proceeding with the dispute. Where our evaluation suggests you have a strong enough case, we put our money where our advice is and offer to share the risks with you. What happens if I lose? You only pay the agreed amount. Is no win, no fee suitable for every case? Following recent changes in the law, people who win cases have to pay the insurance premium and "success fees" out of their damages, so that this must be carefully considered. if you do not want a no win, no fee agreement or your case is not suitable for one for some reason, we look at other options too. For example, we might agree a fixed fee for specific work to place you on a firm footing to do the rest.
