När den svenska marknaden för bilprovning avreglerades 2010 bestämde vi oss för att ta steget och göra något annorlunda. Något nytt. Vi ville sätta en ny standard för bilprovning – och det behövdes. Besiktningarna hade inte utvecklats i samma takt som bilarna. Jämfört med förr ser dagens bilar mer ut som rullande datorer, och besiktningen måste anpassas därefter. Därför startade vi en bilprovning som inte bara gör det som lagen kräver, utan erbjuder något mer. Något som både är enklare och säkrare för dig och din familj. Resultatet blev Besikta Bilprovning. I april 2016 förvärvade vi ClearCar och idag har Besikta Bilprovning 195 stationer på 159 orter, från Ystad i söder till Boden i norr. Vi erbjuder besiktning av de flesta typer av fordon, från bilen och MC:n till tunga fordon som lastbil, buss och släp. Utgångspunkten i vårt arbete är att ge dig en säkrare besiktning. För dig med personbil till exempel, inkluderar vi även en utökad elektronikkontroll - utan extra kostnad - av ABS-bromsarna och krockkuddarna. (Resultatet av denna extrakontroll rapporteras inte in till Transportstyrelsen, utan är endast till för din säkerhets skull.)
