BEST Barcelona at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) is one of the 13 founding members of the Board of European Students of Technology (BEST). BEST is a non-profit and non-political organisation whose principal aim is to bring closer students, companies and universities. After 25 years of history, now counts with 96 Local BEST Groups (LBGs) in 33 countries. The mission of BEST is to provide the students complementary education, helping them to become more internationally minded, know better other cultures and develop their teamwork capabilities in a culturally diverse environment. Aiming this, BEST Barcelona organizes events, courses and competitions in the technological field, among them, the biggest European engineering competition, EBEC.
