Central Oklahoma Ballet Theatre (COBT) is a holistic, professional, community-oriented, recreational and professional ballet academy and company. We provide the central Oklahoma dance region with professional, quality ballet, modern and contemporary education and creative development for children and adults. Formed in 2018 by Creative Director Sterlin Mosley, co-creative director and school director Catie Tramel and Operations Director Aaron Addonizio with the aim of providing at the highest quality of classical dance education to all students regardless of opportunity. We believe that the gift of dance is its ability to uplift, inspire and unite people of all communities. As a non-profit organization our school tuition goes to support dancers of any age or economic background to purse recreational or pre-professional dance education. We are more than simply a dance school as we aim to teach our students the holistic life skills necessary to succeed in life and in the professional dance world. Fostering the dancer in areas such as nutritional education, cross-training exercise, stress management, time management, emotional health and creative and cognitive development will aid dancers in achieving longevity in dance or whatever their chosen path.
