CEPSA is an integrated energy company operating at each stage of the oil value chain, with more than 11.000 employees worldwide. Le Centre d'enseignement professionnel de Vevey, abrite l'Ecole supérieure d'arts appliqués et l'Ecole professionnelle artisanale. Le CEPV représente bon-an, mal-an 950 apprentis, une centaine d'enseignants et environ vingt personnes attachées à l'administration et au bâtiment. L'Ecole supérieure d'arts appliqués est née de la réunion de l'Ecole de céramique de Renens, de l'Ecole de décoration et de l'Ecole de photographie sises toutes deux à Vevey. En 2002, l'Ecole d'arts appliqués obtient le label d'Ecole supérieure d'arts appliqués avec la Photographie, bientôt suivie par le Visual Merchandising puis par la Céramique en 2009. L'Ecole supérieure d'arts appliqués abrite trois sections distinctes qui, elles mêmes, s'articulent en deux formations subséquentes: une formation initiale menant à un CFC, et une formation supérieure. La section céramique La section expographie La section photographie Une classe de préapprentissage artistique permet aux plus jeunes de se préparer à entrer dans l'une ou l'autre formation initiale. Enfin, la Maturité professionnelle post-CFC (MPA, MPC ou MPT) offre aux détenteurs d'un CFC la possibilité de poursuivre leurs études pour accéder aux HES. L'Ecole professionnelle artisanale accueille chaque semaine les apprentis en formation duale dans les métiers apparentés à ceux des arts appliqués (céramistes, décorateurs, photographes, spécialistes en photographie), dans les métiers du bois (menuisiers, constructeurs de bateaux, facteurs de piano) ou dans des métiers moins fréquents, tels les maquettistes ou les selliers.
