The Centro de Enseñanza Técnica y Superior (CETYS University) (Center for Higher and Technical Education) is an educational institution of excellence located in the State of Baja California, México. It was born in 1961 under the sponsorship of a group of visionary entrepreneurs who devised a quality education on this flourishing border state. With campuses in Mexicali, Tijuana, and Ensenada, CETYS University currently offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in the areas of Management and Business, Engineering, and Humanities; it also offers general and international High School. CETYS University has a strong humanistic character that is looking, as its mission establishes, “to contribute in the development of persons with the necessary moral and intellectual capacity for participating in an important way in the economic, social, and cultural improvement of the country.” It is currently rated as one of the top universities in the country. Our University belongs to the University Foundation San Pablo-CEU, the most important private education organization in Spain, having more than 26,000 students and 24 centres in every educative level, among those three Universities in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. University CEU Cardenal Herrera has more than 40 years experience in the Autonomous Community of Valencia.

The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) is the FIVB supporting institution responsible for governing 56 National Federations throughout Europe and is recognized as such by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB). The CEV has the authority and responsibility for organizing all European competitions in Volleyball and Beach Volleyball. The CEV headquarters are located in Luxembourg City (Grand Duchy of Luxembourg). The CEV shall pursue, in the geographical area that is placed under its authority, the aims of the FIVB to encourage the development and growth of Volleyball and Beach Volleyball in all its forms as set out in the FIVB Constitution, with particular emphasis on: • Coordinating the activity of the National Federations, to promote their mutual cooperation and understanding and settling any disputes. • Fostering the development of friendly relations between the National Federations and all officials, trainers, referees and players. • Ensuring adherence to the FIVB Constitution, Code of Conduct, Regulations, Official Rules and any other FIVB decision. • Promoting the expansion and popularity of Volleyball and Beach Volleyball in all their forms. • Encouraging the establishment of National Federations and their membership in the FIVB. • Organizing Continental Championships and all other official competitions. • Encouraging the organization of courses and advanced training sessions in both technical subjects and refereeing.

CEVAP TECHNOLOGY is a Dutch water treatment technology start-up, developing a thermal water treatment solution by applying unique technology that is driven by waste heat. CEVAP Technology developed a smart evaporator based prototype that can economically deal with difficult waste-water streams. CEVAP has been able to demonstrate good thermal performance using low cost materials, enabling the use of a cartridge based multi-effect evaporation system, that minimizes both operational and upfront investment costs. The use of replaceable cartridges eliminates the need for extensive (chemical) cleaning, pre-treatment and system downtime because of fouling and scaling. The overall target market for CEVAP is the low- to medium volume (waste) water streams gap, for which no economical solution is currently available. Initial target markets are the Biomass and Chemical industry; future markets will include Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical and Drinking Water industries.
