Il y a encore cette excellente cuvée Spéciale brut Premier Cru, tout en bouche, riche et complexe, puissante et persistante, savoureuse au nez comme en bouche, intense et complexe, très racée, avec des notes de fleurs blanches et de brioche, d'une longue finale, fort bien dosée, un Champagne Gaston Revolte qui s'accorde aussi bien avec un sandre qu'avec une volaille rôtie." contact@champagne-gaston-revolte.com

The “birth certificate“ of the Mandois vineyards dates back to 1735 when the family decided to acquire some vineyards in Champagne. At that time, Jean Mandois, a contemporary of Brother Oudart, possessed and worked a few plots of vines on the hillsides of Epernay. 1860 was a revolutionary year in the long family history. This was the year when Jean Mandois’ great-grandson, Victor Mandois, a visionary and trailblazer, took the decision that he would vinify and sell the wines of Champagne in Epernay. Thanks to Victor’s passion for his craft, shared by the ensuing generations inspired by his work, Champagne Mandois is now available around the world and is reputed to be among the great Champagne Houses. In 2015, 2/3 of the production is exported and the Champagne House is today overseen by Claude Mandois (born 1961). Representing the 9th generation since Jean Mandois, it is now his turn to safeguard the interests of the family shareholders. As an independent Champagne House, Mandois has the freedom to make the right decisions for the long term and is able to ensure the perennity of the style and quality of its Champagnes. Combining tradition and modernity, the Mandois family therefore remains faithful to the time-honored values ​​of the Champagne Houses.
