The Change Your Past Foundation was officially founded on 1st of January 2004 in South Australia. Its founders were a group of passionate people that wanted to help those that experienced mental and emotional challenges and didn’t have the financial means to pay for treatments themselves. The focus of the founding members was not only on the fund-raising, but on the healing as well. They were determined not to use therapies that would alleviate symptoms without removing the cause(s), would require the client to re-experience trauma or pain or potentially create obesity or drug-dependency through long-term medication. These requirements forced them to continuously evaluate the best therapies available. But no matter how many modalities they studied over the years, the only therapy that fitted their criteria at the time was the My Envisioned Mind process developed by independent researcher, Beverley F. Searle. Once they used My Envisioned Mind the result confirmed their scrutiny: They created an untold number of truly remarkable success stories and very happy clients. Unfortunately, the number of clients they could help was restricted by their capability of raising funds and so the foundation remained a rather small local community charity. This changed in 2017, when new members came on board and restructured the entire organisation from one with a local view to one with a global presence and from internal research and analysis to an engaging open sharing & learning concept (CompareTherapies.org). Today, the Change Your Past Foundation is committed to inform and assist the public to learn more about mental health challenges, the support groups that guide one through it, how to recover from them through natural remedies, therapeutic & allopathic treatments, which therapies are considered the best for each individual circumstances and who are the best providers of those therapies. At the same time it offers support groups, psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, counsellors, nurses, and complimentary health professionals the opportunity to profile themselves to the information seekers, to find out which remedies & therapies are in highest demand and where to get certified for such. Change Your Past is committed to find (or help researchers to create) many more modalities like My Envisioned Mind and is willing to share the mental health data collected through its activities to provide intelligence to institutions, agencies or policy makers for the improvement of public services.
