The Charlotte FC Podcast is hosted and produced by Nic Finelli. Nic is a former teacher and technology integration specialist of 24 years who now spends his days working with zSpace, a Silicon Valley company who creates AR/VR laptops, devices, and software that inspires educators K-20 to use in their classrooms for teaching and learning. Prior to being an educator, Nic worked in various roles for the University of South Carolina's sports marketing arm after graduating with a Sport Administration degree from the university. His roles included: radio network affiliates manager, scriptwriter, account manager, vendor/program sales director, corporate sponsorship/marketing associate, and member of the halftime program creation team. Charlotte FC Podcast dot com was born out of the love for "the most beautiful game" and the opportunity to recapture the magic of covering and working in sports. Nic was born and raised in the Washington, DC area following the NASL Washington Diplomats (Dips) and played select soccer as well as started as center back for his MD high school state championship team at Archbishop Spalding.
