The Culture, Heritage and Arts Assembly (CHArts) is currently an open volunteer network of people working within arts, culture and heritage across Argyll and the Isles, with the intention of becoming a constituted organisation during the process of the Place Partnership. This Place Partnership is supported by Argyll and Bute Council. CHArts aim is to be instrumental in advancing Argyll and the Isles already vibrant cultural ecology, working with artists to grow local creative opportunity and establish strong economic sustainability. The group is formed by representatives from each area who will then coordinate hub groups to allow for unique and locally focused approaches.
