For over 100 years, since 1911, Child and Family Charities has been protecting and strengthening families in need. The agency's founding purpose was "to secure for every child the same love and same opportunity that we would have our children receive should they be left orphaned or friendless." Over the years, under the same guiding principles, Child and Family Charities has evolved in the mid-Michigan community. Today, through 6 divisions and 30+ programs, Child and Family Charities offers a full spectrum of support to over 15,000 children, youth, and families annually—8,000 in the mid-Michigan area and 7,000 throughout Michigan. The primary mission of the private nonprofit organization is to strengthen and support children, families, and individuals as they evolve and grow in a changing community.

Our primary focus is providing affordable, high-quality, and individualized support to adults, children, and families throughout the state. Our mission is to help individuals attain personal, behavioral, emotional, and academic goals. Child Care Links acts as a link between government social service agencies and families. Income-eligible families can receive needed funds to pay for child care and also education on how to find quality child care. Child Care Providers, parents and employers receive valuable one-on-one support and education from our agency. Free child care referrals are provided to parents in the Tri-Valley area. Child Care Links currently serves participants out of three offices located in Alameda County: Pleasanton, Fremont and Oakland. We are a Resource & Referral agency and an Alternative Payment Program, providing resources to the community by offering the following: Subsidized Child Care services Referrals to License Providers Provider and family education and support services Services provided at each site may vary based on funding requirements. The Child Care Links Main office is located in Pleasanton and provides all the services listed above to the cities of Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin and Sunol. Our North County satellite office is located in Oakland and provides CalWORKs Stage 1 and Provider and Family Education and Support Services to Oakland, Berkeley, Emeryville, Alameda and Albany. Our South County satellite office is located in Fremont and provides subsidized child care services for CalWORKs Stage II & III, Federal Block Grant and Alternative Payment Programs. Provider and Family education and Support Services are also available from this office. The South County office covers Fremont, Newark and Union City. Serving as an advocate for quality child care, Child Care Links participates in many local committees on the subject. Child Care Links documents and disseminates current statistical information about the supply and demand for child care services and serves the community in an advisory capacity to develop strategies to meet child care needs.

Child Care of Southwest Florida, Inc., a nonprofit early childhood education provider with six learning centers in Lee and Hendry counties that serve more than 600 children from 6 weeks to 8 years old. Each center is accredited through the National Accreditation Commission for Early Learning Leaders and is recognized as a Gold Seal Quality Care Program through the Florida Department of Children and Families. Five of CCSWFLs six locations have five-star ratings through the Early Learning Coalition of Southwest Florida. CCSWFL follows the nationally recognized, research-based Creative Curriculum, with a goal of creating safe, nurturing learning environments that develop young minds, support families, strengthen the community and secure the future. Through its participation in the USDAs Child Food Care Program, each child has access to a healthy, nutritious breakfast, lunch and snacks.
