Mavo De Saad is een christelijke school die kwalitatief goed onderwijs biedt. Wij leren en werken in een sfeer van vertrouwen, aandacht en veiligheid. Wij willen hierdoor bereiken dat de leerling: - een VMBO-T diploma haalt; - een goede aansluiting met het vervolgonderwijs heeft; - goed kan functioneren binnen de maatschappij. Wij zijn een christelijke school. Wij willen de liefde van Jezus uitstralen in ons handelen en in de manier waarop we met elkaar omgaan. Wij beginnen elke morgen met de Bijbel, daarnaast vieren we de christelijke feestdagen. Van groep 8 naar het voortgezet onderwijs is voor de leerling een hele stap. Wij hebben daarom in de onderbouw kleine klassen, zodat wij de leerling veel aandacht en begeleiding kunnen geven en zo de overstap makkelijker maken. Elke leerling heeft de hele schoolperiode een vaste mentor, de vertrouwde contactpersoon voor leerling en ouders. Onze school biedt duidelijkheid en structuur. Uit onderzoek is gebleken dat jongeren in deze leeftijd daar houvast in vinden. Op school heerst een gezellige, informele sfeer. Onze school is kleinschalig, wij kennen de leerling. Dit is een belangrijke basis voor een goede relatie tussen docent, leerling en ouder. Onze school bestaat al bijna 100 jaar. In 1919 wordt de vereniging voor Christelijk MULO in de gemeente Dantumadiel opgericht en op 1 augustus 1921 wordt de (M)ULO-school geopend. De school bevindt zich dan aan de Hoofdweg van Murmerwoude (tegenwoordig de Haadwei in Damwâld). De locatie waar de huidige school is gevestigd is in de loop van de jaren meerdere keren verbouwd en vernieuwd. In 1985 wordt de school zelfs helemaal afgebroken en op dezelfde plaats wordt het huidige moderne schoolgebouw neergezet. Dit nieuwe schoolgebouw wordt in 1986 feestelijk geopend. Bij die gelegenheid wordt de nieuwe naam van de school onthuld: Christelijke Mavo De Saad. Het woord saad komt uit het Fries en betekent bron of wel.

The company acquired in 2014 the rights to the original IP related to protein purification technology from Novozymes, DK. A prototype of the technology has been developed and thoroughly tested by industry experts and a leading biopharmaceutical company in Europe during 2014/16. The Technology is expected to be introduced late 2020 How does the CHRETO Technology for mAb purification: The purification process consists of three steps: catch, clean and collect. Catch. The DAP molecule reacts in solution with the feed stream containing the target molecule(s) e.g., an antibody. Clean. Impurities including HCP (host cell proteins) and DNA are removed followed by dissociation of the DAP-antibody complex and capture of DAP to a biotin support. Collect. The purified antibody is collected and the membrane cartridge is discharged.
