She also takes great care in ensuring that each silhouette is fit to perfection; enhancing femininity through drape, bias cut, and stretch lace application. Now celebrating over 40 years in business, Christine maintains her dedication to detail and promise to the quality workmanship that has become synonymous with her name. Her passion for exquisite lace and luxurious silk is still her main source of design inspiration. She works closely with many of the world's oldest manufacturers to reproduce antique laces and select signature prints for her silk collection. Christine has been honoured with awards attesting to her unrivaled achievements. She was a recipient of the Fashion Export Awards in 2005 and 2006 and was recognized multiple times by the Matinee Fashion Awards in Canada from 1997 to 2002. Christine’s lingerie is carried in high-end boutiques and luxury department stores. Customers from around the globe and celebrities such as Oprah, Catherine Zeta Jones, Gwyneth Paltrow, Diana Krall, Christina Hendricks and Katie Holmes continue to collect her unique and beautiful garments. The entire design and manufacturing process of her collection is made in Canada. It is all made locally in order to assure responsibility in manufacturing and couture quality in craftsmanship. Production Manager, Alina Chang has been able to maintain this domestic production model. She came to Vancouver as an immigrant from Laos in 1979 and began working with Christine. Alina’s husband, mother, grandmother, sisters, and sister in-law, have all been part of the Christine Lingerie family. Thirty years later, Alina is still committed to the quality and success of the company as Production Manager.

75 years ago, in her native Romania, Christine Valmy began creating natural skin care products with ingredients from her garden. In 1961, she moved to the U.S. and pioneered the country's esthetics profession, opening its first school in 1965. For decades, Ms. Valmy worked with her daughter, Marina, to fine-tune treatment techniques and product formulas based on a deep knowledge of how skin functions. Together, they advanced the beauty industry through education and product innovation. Today, Marina Valmy leads the organization, staying on the cutting edge of new trends and technologies to shape the next generation of beauty professionals, while remaining forever true to her mother's original vision of all-natural, effective skin care.
