OUR STORY Chuck, our rescue puppy, suffered a short-term illness and passed away suddenly on January 31, 2018 at 5:45 PM. While navigating through the urgent care process we learned of the care options on-the-fly while struggling to deal with our overwhelming emotions, anxiety, and grief. While attempting to secure the appropriate care for Chuck several lessons were learned, hearts were broken, and inspiration was born. After Chuck passed a very pronounced commission was laid upon my heart to form a nonprofit outreach to assist beloved pets and their families by providing a compassionate service aiding with wellness, sustainability, and memorial relief. WHAT IS CHUCK’S GIFT? Chuck’s Gift is a nonprofit organization founded by Tom and Cathy Viscounte in 2018. Chuck’s Gift is fully funded by 100% tax deductible gifts and 100% of all funds go directly to the outreach and costs to keep the project going. Chuck’s Gift is currently a 100% volunteer organization, and NO ONE RECEIVES A SALARY. Your generous gift is the only means to allow Chuck’s Gift to reach pets and their families in need to help save pet’s lives.
