The facilities on offer include long and short-term moorings, slipway and boat repair facilities, and brokerage service for people looking to buy or sell boats, and chandlery. There is also an on-site restaurant called “The Galley” that has meeting room facilities, which can accommodate up to 20 people. A recent addition to the site was a caravan park and storage facility. Over a period of seven years developed we have diversified our activities around our core business of 147 narrowboat berths. With over 30 full time and part time employees, through careful step change, innovation and re-investment our growth has been significant, establishing ourselves focal point within the local community employing a significant workforce and developing young people through; mentoring, training schemes, bursary’s and vocational training. With a mature café, engineering services, brokerage and a blossoming caravan park the facilities and social events attract customers from a broad social spectrum and geographic spread.
