Sotto il cappello AICA da svariati anni è stato attivato un gruppo di lavoro indipendente dedicato allo scambio di idee e informazioni tra i CIO delle aziende italiane di medio-grandi dimensioni. Obiettivo di questo forum è quello di condividere necessità ed esperienze tra i CIO, costruire percorsi formativi mirati e definire attività di interesse per la comunità dei CIO italiani, in collaborazione anche con altre associazioni e il mondo accademico. Dal 2011 CIO AICA Forum è il rappresentante italiano all’interno dell’European CIO Association (ex EUROCIO), associazione fondata nel 2004 con sede a Bruxelles e dallo scorso anno anche in EURO.digital. La nostra mission si realizza nell'anticipare la messa a fuoco di problemi comuni emergenti, inerenti al ruolo ricoperto (quello di CIO) sia sul piano personale che su quello delle organizzazioni per le quali i CIO operano, definendo insieme una linea condivisa sulle tematiche di maggior interesse. Per aderire è necessario essere un CIO in servizio presso un’organizzazione di grande o media dimensione e fare domanda di adesione all’indirizzo mail: cioaica@aicanet.it oppure direttamente ad un componente conosciuto del Comitato di Coordinamento del Forum.
