Main company services: lean design and processes; innovation and business development; research management; technology transfer; and assistance in accessing research funding. Main public service related services: STI policy studies and strategies (such as science parks, IPR, HEI collaboration, research support systems); STI programme and institutional evaluation; RTI in economic development; and project management and access to H2020. CIRCA's experience is based on long involvement in RTI management at all levels. Three CIRCA consultants have been directors of national ‘Programmes in Advanced Technology’ whose purpose was to commercialise asademic research. Four have been Industry R&D Directors and senior managers; while six have been high-level managers in national RTI agencies.

Its team of experts acts like a fire brigade, with the ability to react promptly and efficiently whenever threats are suspected, detected or incidents occur. CIRCL’s aim is to gather, review, report and respond to cyber threats in a systematic and prompt manner.
