The City of Greenwood is home to some 14,500 residents in Leflore County, Mississippi and is governed by the mayor and city council. The City of Greer, South Carolina One of South Carolina’s fastest-growing cities, Greer is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains — in the heart of the state’s bustling Upstate region with easy access to interstate highways, an international airport and rail service to the Port of Charleston. That number topped 25,000 in 2010 and may surpass 100,000 residents in 2030 according to U.S. Census Bureau forecasts. The Greer Community is following its community master plan that contains strategies to handle the population and commercial growth expected over the next 15 years.
