Established in 1965, Cleveland Community College has celebrated 50 years of providing diverse and accessible learning opportunities to meet the educational and training needs of our community. Cleveland Fire Brigade serves our area via four districts - Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland and Stockton-on-Tees. We have 14 community fire stations plus our Training & Administration and Technical Hubs. Our fire control room operates from our Hartlepool site and handles all of the 999 emergency calls for the area.

Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center (CHSC) is the nation’s oldest freestanding speech center, and Northeast Ohio’s only non-profit organization, dedicated solely to serving those with special communication needs. CHSC consistently serves thousands of children and adults each year in four service areas: Speech-Language and Learning, Audiology, Language Interpreting, and Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. CHSC offers screenings, evaluations, and therapy at our four office locations: University Circle, Broadview Heights, Westlake, and Lyndhurst. Mission Cleveland Hearing and Speech Center provides speech-language, hearing, language interpreting, and Deaf services.
