Cambridge Agenda for Children Out-of-School Time (AFCOST) is a citywide intermediary situated in both the Citys human services and school departments. AFCOST unites the youth-serving community of Cambridge to increase equity, access, and quality out-of-school time (OST) experiences, particularly for children and youth from low-income families & communities of color. We professionalize and build the capacity of out-of-school time workers through training, communities of practice, networks, coaching, and ongoing quality improvement support. We reach 70 OST programs and over 350 youth development professionals annually.
