The Colorado Fallen Hero Foundation is a non-profit organization made up of Colorado law enforcement officers and civilian personnel who serve in a voluntary capacity. When a line of duty death occurs, the Colorado Fallen Hero Foundation can assist, support, and provide resources for a host agency to the degree or depth permitted by the agency head. The primary goal and objective, however, is to serve the deceased officer’s family based on their needs and wishes

The Denver Federal Executive Board was one of the original ten Federal Executive Boards established by Presidential Directive in 1961. In January of 2010, the FEB expanded its geographic boundaries to include the entire State of Colorado and became the Colorado Federal Executive Board (CFEB). The CFEB is one of 28 FEBs that serve as the cornerstone for strategic partnering in government, and provide a forum for communication and collaboration among Federal agencies outside of Washington, DC. Since approximately 88 percent of all Federal employees work outside the National Capital Region, the need for effective communication and coordination among the field activities of Federal departments and agencies is crucial. Federal programs have their impact largely through the actions of the field representatives of the departments and agencies and Federal representatives are the principal contact with the Federal Government for the citizens of the United States. The Colorado Fourteeners Initiative protects and preserves the natural integrity of Colorado's 54 14,000-foot peaks through active stewardship and public education. CFI accomplishes its mission through volunteer-based trail-building and terrain restoration projects, while actively involving Fourteener enthusiasts in the stewardship of these iconic mountains.
