Colorado Northwestern is one college in two Colorado communities. Depending on what you want to study, CNCC has the perfect surroundings and facilities to meet your needs. Founded in 1962 as “Rangely College,” CNCC now serves nearly 1,100 students on two campuses, two service centers and online. Our two main campuses in Craig and Rangely are 90 miles apart in the mountains and canyons of Northwestern Colorado, with two service centers located in Meeker and Oak Creek. We serve a diverse student population, ranging from traditional college students right out of high school, to adults who are seeking to advance their careers, or perhaps pursue a second one. The programs we offer are just as diverse as our students! We offer world-class Arts & Science Degree programs that feature guaranteed transfer to Colorado four-year institutions. We also offer a rich array of Career and Technical programs designed to give students the training they need to get to work now. Perhaps one the the most attractive things about CNCC is that we are centered in one of the richest recreational and scenic areas in Colorado. It’s Colorado like you’ve never seen it before, with deep, high mountain canyons; impossibly wide vistas; wild, untamed rivers; and solitude that inspires.

Since 1962, Colorado Outward Bound School (COBS) has provided transformative life experiences for people of all ages and backgrounds. With the outdoors as our classroom, we empower students to learn by stepping outside their comfort zone. Through challenge, discovery and connection in the outdoors, students discover that they are stronger than they know. COBS offers courses that range in length from 8 to 81 days for youth, adults, veterans, business professionals, and community groups. Our courses take place in the farthest reaches of Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming. Course activities include backpacking, mountaineering, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, kayaking, canyoneering and backcountry snowboarding and skiing.

The Colorado Potato Administrative Committee (CPAC) was founded in 1941 with the key goal of organizing the then more than 175 Colorado Potato Growers and Colorado Potato Shippers throughout Colorado under a common purpose and industry. Self-regulation and quality standards; production practice management, legislation, marketing, and research funding are some of the key functions of CPAC. Today, CPAC represents a smaller grower and shipper group in both its Regions (San Luis Valley and Greeley) reflecting a consolidated marketplace, but its 175 members and dedicated staff represent a dynamic force working together for the future of the entire potato industry.

Colorado PTAC generates employment and improves the general economic condition of the state by assisting Colorado companies, including those eligible for preferential consideration, in obtaining and performing under local, state and federal government contracts. Colorado PTAC is a Public, Private, Partnership operating as a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation funded by federal, state and local grant money and in-kind support. The PTAC partners with universities, community colleges, local economic development corporations, small business development centers and other business programs or local institutions delivering services statewide. We provide procurement technical assistance to help you in the selling of your products or services to the appropriate government agency by offering confidential counseling at no cost. The core of our procurement assistance program is counseling and education. The Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP) was authorized by Congress in 1985 in an effort to expand the number of businesses capable of participating in the Government Marketplace. Administered by the Department of Defense, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA),* the program provides matching funds through cooperative agreements with state and local governments and non-profit organizations for the establishment of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs) to provide procurement assistance. PTACs are the bridge between buyer and supplier, bringing to bear their knowledge of both government contracting and the capabilities of contractors to maximize fast, reliable service to our government with better quality and at lower costs. Colorado PTAC is staffed with counselors experienced in government contracting and provide a wide range of services. Our PTAC counselors have backgrounds in government acquisitions and all receive ongoing training to keep pace with continually evolving acquisition procedures and policies.
