CambTEK has developed unique products and technologies for sample preparation of solid dosage forms, liquids, gels and pastes. Utilising CambTEK's proprietary technologies, rapid and reproducible sample preparation is easily achieved, and the CambTEK product range offers affordable semi to fully automated solutions. CambTEK's Rapid Extraction System (RES), and Sample Preparation Extractor (SPEx) have many advantages over the existing manual methods, improving: Quality Control Productivity Process Control Reproducibility Health and Safety whilst standardizing processes irrespective of operator skill or geographic location. The RES and SPEx are designed for high-throughput analytical to R&D and QA/QC laboratories, and prepare raw materials, APIs, intermediates, and finished products, for content uniformity, ICH stability, and impurities testing. A wide variety of dosage form types can be extracted, including tablets (both extended and normal release), capsules, powders, and liquids. Methods also exist for tamper resistant formulations such as PEG/PEO, and prolonged release formulations such as HPMC and laser-drilled osmotic tablets, which can be challenging even for manual methods. CambTEK's products are also proving valuable tools for preparation of samples for pharmacy, veterinary, agriculture, food and supplements.
