Our role is three-fold: 1) Source genuine commodities, asset acquisitions and investment opportunities through a network of long established and vetted sources; 2) Source direct buyers (investment funds, private investors and commodity firms; 3) Act as middle-man to handle the transaction between the buyer and seller to ensure a successful outcome. We have extensive knowledge and experience in the commodities market from specifications to global port logistics, vessel capacities, market indices to negotiating spot/contract deals. We also have extensive expertise in asset acquisition from 5* Hotels to large scale off-market developments. Our current portfolio of buyers range from private firms, hedge funds, investment banks, refineries and trade desks. We are also direct to many sellers/title owners/JV partners/mine owners of physical commodities such as iron ore, diamonds, gold etc. as well as sellers of large real estate assets from hotels to commercial/residential assets.

Common Affairs is een architectenbureau met ruime ervaring op het gebied van utiliteitsbouw, woningbouw, stedebouw en interieur. Het bureau is opgericht in 2016 en staat onder leiding van Jos van Eldonk, Mariette Broesterhuizen, Berend Hoffmann en Mirko Post. Common Affairs is voortgekomen uit Soeters Van Eldonk architecten en Het Keizerrijk architecten en is gevestigd in Loods 6 aan het Amsterdamse IJ. Woongebouwen, kantoren, winkelcentra en de herontwikkeling van binnensteden en industriële gebieden zijn belangrijke themas in ons werk. Voorbeelden hiervan zijn Plein 1944 in Nijmegen, het New Energy Institute in Wuhan (China), het Huis van de Stad van Gouda, het masterplan voor de binnenstad van Veenendaal en het ontwerp voor het winkelcentrum The Style Outlets en de kantoren in de voormalige suikersilos binnen het masterplan SugarCity in Halfweg.
