Community Researchers is a nonprofit research organization which connects young researchers with established mentors to work on important community research projects. The organization was established in 2020 by a diverse group of individuals who are passionate about research, helping young people build careers, and serving communities. Community Researchers provides low-cost and subsidized market research services to nonprofits, charities, startups, and other small businesses.

Formed in 1975 by area residents, churches and government leaders, Community Residences (CR) was established to support individuals with mental illnesses. Today, CR provides a variety of supports and services to over 800 individuals each year: those with mental illness and/or intellectual/development disabilities, youth transitioning to independence, individuals and families in crisis and adults living with HIV/AIDS. We are one of the largest providers of supports to individuals with in Virginia, serving residents in Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William and Chesterfield Counties, and in Maryland's Anne Arundel, Montgomery and Baltimore Counties. In pursuit of our mission, CR contributes through the provision of medical, therapeutic, educational, vocational, residential and integrative recreational services to the formation of vital relational communities through which our consumers experience greater independence, dignity, fulfillment and happiness. PROGRAMS Community Resource Project, Inc. assists families in moving from dependence to self-sufficiency by focusing our programs on three strategic areas: Housing, Health, and Education. CRHDC provides pathways to housing resources and asset-building opportunities. We do this through innovative approaches in providing sustainable and affordable housing, life-skills, and economic development opportunities to benefit low-to-moderate income households throughout Colorado through property development, financing, education, partnership, and technical assistance.

Community Resources for Children is a private, nonprofit organization working to meet the child care needs in our community. Our mission is to provide resources for the early care and education of children in Napa County. Funding for our programs comes from state & federal government, individuals, businesses and foundations. Our services include assisting parents in finding child care by providing free child care referrals and information on choosing quality child care; working with families who need help paying for child care in order for them to remain employed, in school, or in training leading towards self-sufficiency; providing payment for respite child care services for children at risk of abuse or neglect; orientations and technical assistance for those interested in opening licensed family child care homes; trainings and workshops for child care professionals for their continued education; educating the community on the needs of young children and their families; maintaining a toy library and early learning center: and advocating for children and families.

The Community Schemes Ombud Service is established in terms of the Community Scheme Ombud Service Act, 2011 [Act 9 of 2011) to regulate the conduct of parties within community schemes and to ensure their good governance. In order to deliver on its mandate, key amongst the priorities of the organization during the duration of the Strategic Plan are: • To establish a world-class dispute resolution service within community schemes characterized by organizational excellence and a conducive organizational culture; • To promote good governance of community schemes by developing and implementing appropriate guidelines to enhance stability and harmonious relations amongst the parties; • To roll-out massive educational campaigns to educate and train stakeholders within • To enhance community schemes tenure as alternative tenure option; and • To develop and implement appropriate organizational systems, controls and measures to enhance financial, economic and organizational efficiency. Given the complex environment within which the CSOS operates, it is prudent that the organization implement accelerated development programmes in order to grow and develop human resources within its strategic areas of performance. At the heart of the strategic priorities of the organization is to promote the right of good administration by all stakeholders within communi ty schemes, especially, owners and occupiers to create vibrant community schemes.
