Created in 2007, Conasa was made a holding company of the Special Purpose Companies (Sociedades de Propósito Específico - SPE). Initially focused on basic sanitation and effluent treatment, the company is now equally present in the segments of energy and highway, a sector of significant relevance to the country's development and which still lacks investment.
