The company began operations with four employees at a 3,000 sq. ft. facility in Northeast Calgary. 1989 In January, Contemporary Coachworks moves to a new location at 2260 22 Street NE. 2006 On January 27, Contemporary Coachworks opens doors at the Southeast location. 2011 Contemporary Coachworks becomes certified as an official BMW & Mini collision repair centre on October 12. 2013 Contemporary Coachworks becomes a Tesla certified collision repair centre on May 1, 2013. 2014 Contemporary Coachworks celebrates 30 years of excellence on March 21, 2014 On September 17, Contemporary Coachworks joins the Lexus Certified Collision Centre Program On November 17, Contemporary Coachworks joins the Volkswagen certified collision repair facility program 2015 Contemporary Coachworks is announced as the Top Choice Award winner for Top Auto Body Repair of 2015 in Calgary on March 13. Contemporary Coachworks becomes a Honda Canada ProFirst Certified Honda and Acura repair facility on September 11, 2015.
