Copenhagen FinTech is a non-profit association open to companies and organisations with interests within the finance IT area. Copenhagen FinTech develops research, innovation and education within financial technology. Copenhagen FinTech initiates projects and analyses and uses professional knowledge to stimulate debate. The Innovation Network for Finance IT and Copenhagen FinTech have five focus areas. Companies, which actively participate, will thus have privileged access to knowledge and contacts. It can be a matchmaking for concrete projects, finding project partners, and obtaining resources for the development of research- and innovation collaboration with universities. Copenhagen Game Collective is a multi-gender, multi-national, award-winning game design collective based in Copenhagen, Denmark. We make games of all types, including browser-based games, pervasive games, card games, board games, Wiimote games, social network games, and mods. We advocate game design practices that are messily collaborative, and believe that the design process should be as fun and social as the end product itself. Our goal is to call attention to the thriving independent game design scene that already exists in Copenhagen, as well as to bring together our extended network of friends to build an even tighter community; despite all the rhetoric around virtual communities and Web 2.0, we believe that place still matters.
