COurban is an urban design collective based in Copenhagen working with democratic city planning through co-creation, participatory design processes and doing on site data collection. At COurban we pride ourselves on working with theoretical knowledge at a 1:1 scale. This means we always do a lengthy set of research before starting any project, such as learning from best practices around the world, using our academic connections to gain further knowledge, and employing an ethnographic perspective on our work. Urban design and architecture have moved from design as decoration, to design as problem solving, and from this perspective is how we address our projects.

La structure à taille humaine du cabinet favorise l’esprit de coopération entre associés et consultants et permet une carrière adaptée aux ambitions de chacun. Courcelles développe par ailleurs la fibre entrepreneuriale en investissant dans des projets issus de domaines différents des spécialités du cabinet. Le cabinet a emménagé en 2017 dans de nouveaux locaux spacieux et confortables, dotés d’un beau jardin et équipés d’une salle de sport : le bien-être au travail est également une des priorités du cabinet.
