The CTBC is a Canadian chartered not-for-profit organization formed in 2001 in recognition of the importance of Turkey as a trading and investment partner for Canada. We are dedicated to a variety of activities to enhance business and trade relations between Canada and Turkey. Membership provides firms and organizations with preferred access to our events, ensures you are kept aware of and can influence key developments, and provides opportunities for raising your corporate profile both in Canada and in Turkey. The CTBC is a bilateral trade and investment facilitator, catalyst and advocate for Canada/Turkey commercial activity. As such, we provide insight into Canada-Turkey trade and investment issues and develop connections through missions, meetings and seminars aimed to ensure business success for our members. The Council is the voice of the Canadian business community on issues affecting trade and investment in Turkey. We emphasize Turkey as an attractive commercial destination through targeted marketing and advocacy efforts and by highlighting member experiences. We actively promote networking and communication between established, new and potential Canadian exporters and investors, facilitating the exchange of information and the formation of business alliances. At the same time, the Council actively promotes Turkish trade and investment in Canada. A key objective is to provide support to our members in their dealings with Canadian and Turkish governmental and regulatory bodies on key business issues.
