THE BEGINNING Cheksern Young’s founder Mr Tan Foh Hua began his quest in the art of construction in the year 1984 under his partnership, T&D Company. In the year 1994, he establishes his wholly owned construction company Cheksern Young. Upon practising and understanding the needs of this demanding and yet fulfilling industry, Mr. Tan decided to further develop his interest in interior works with his newly formed company, Syabas Saga in the year 1999. After achieving a certain level of recognition and success, Mr. Tan decided to rename Syabas Saga to honour his first construction company and henceforth Cheksern Young Builders was born. THE RE-BIRTH Cheksern Young strives to pursue excellence, competitive pricing, quality of works, and timely delivery in all of its construction activities. We've played every weekend since May 28, 1993. Two teams alternate improvised scenes, games and songs, and the audience votes for the team they like better. A referee explains the rules, calls the ComedySportz fouls, and solicits suggestions from the audience to inspire every scene/game. The ref is our secret weapon - the ref keeps it moving and keeps it clean. ComedySportz is 100 percent family and business friendly. It's a show that entertains everyone with offending anyone - our regular show audiences features bachelor parties, church groups, senior citizens, teenagers, kids and adults at the same time.
