Cumulus Studio is a design focused Architectural Practice with studios in Launceston, Hobart and Melbourne. The studio formed out of a desire to investigate ideas collaboratively and an understanding that great ideas are developed through sharing and workshopping with others. From the Latin word for Heap or Pile, Cumulus refers to this conviction that through working together a critical-mass of ideas can be accumulated quickly - idea clouds. These ideas can take on any size or form and be manipulated to suit conditions. The practice is backed by extensive experience in leading some of the states most successful public and private architectural projects. Through working as senior architects in award winning design practices Peter and Todd have gained a valuable understanding of the importance of design in the public sphere and have a proven track record in project delivery.
