FOR A FAIR TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER TO THE GLOBAL SOUTH The "Valorisation Sud" Consortium (CVT) is an inter-institutional organisation certified within the framework of Investments for the future. With a ten-year endowment of 9 million, the CVT Valorisation Sud is the national reference organisation for transfers of technologies and know-how towards the economic actors of the Global South (tropical and equatorial regions, developing and emerging countries). The International Cooperation Center of Agricultural Research for Development (Cirad), the Institut Pasteur, the French Research Institute for Development (IRD) and the five french overseas universities (Reunion, West Indies, Guiana, New Caledonia and French Polynesia) have joined forces to promote French research for the advancement of countries in the Global South in order to establish the Theme-based Technology Transfer Consortium (CVT) "Valorisation Sud". Our mission To promote and transfer technologies of socioeconomic interest developed by French public research laboratories to markets in the Global South. Univerzitní centrum energeticky efektivních budov Českého vysokého učení technického (ČVUT UCEEB) vzniklo jako odezva na požadavky orgánů Evropské unie na snižování energetické náročnosti budov, které mají až 40% podíl na neustále rostoucí celosvětové spotřebě energie. Založeno bylo v roce 2012 s přispěním Evropského fondu pro regionální rozvoj a státního rozpočtu České republiky jako samostatný výzkumný ústav ČVUT. Jsme multioborový tým špičkových vědců, odborníků a mladých talentů, kteří společně usilují o trvale udržitelný rozvoj ve stavitelství, a naším cílem je, aby všechny nově postavené domy v EU byly energeticky efektivní a vyprodukovaly tolik energie, kolik samy spotřebují. Od 15. května 2014 sídlíme v nové budově v Buštěhradu. Její stavebně-energetickou koncepci jsme navrhli v souladu s moderními nároky na úspornost a šetrnost životního prostředí. Kromě administrativního a provozního zázemí je k dispozici 21 špičkově vybavených laboratoří, v nichž probíhá výzkum organizačně rozdělený do pěti oddělení: • Architektura a interakce budov s životním prostředím • Energetické systémy budov • Kvalita vnitřního prostředí • Materiály a konstrukce budov • Monitoring a řízení inteligentních budov Pomáháme snižovat energetickou náročnost staveb a současně přispíváme ke zmírňování dopadů jejich provozu na životní prostředí. Pracujeme na zvýšení bezpečnosti a spolehlivosti systémů inteligentního řízení domů, a kromě toho také nabízíme efektivní využití obnovitelných zdrojů pro nové i stávající budovy. Intenzivně se zapojujeme do odborných projektů zabývajících se snižováním emisí a zohledňováním environmentálních souvislostí v rámci stavitelství. Vyvíjíme nová řešení a vyvinuté technologie posouváme do praxe. Náš výzkum je proto zaměřený i na komercializaci výsledků a spolupráci s průmyslem. Objem smluvního vývoje pro soukromý sektor se každoročně pohybuje v řádu desítek milionů korun.

O CVV - Centro de Valorização da Vida, fundado em São Paulo, em 1962, é uma associação civil sem fins lucrativos, filantrópica, reconhecida como de Utilidade Pública Federal, desde 1973. Presta serviço voluntário e gratuito de apoio emocional e prevenção do suicídio para todas as pessoas que querem e precisam conversar, sob total sigilo e anonimato. A instituição é associada ao Befrienders Worldwide, que congrega entidades congêneres de todo o mundo, e participou da força tarefa que elaborou a Política Nacional de Prevenção do Suicídio, do Ministério da Saúde, com quem mantém, desde 2015, um termo de cooperação para a implantação de uma linha gratuita nacional de prevenção do suicídio. A linha 188 começou a funcionar no Rio Grande do Sul e, em setembro de 2017, iniciou sua expansão para todo o Brasil, que será concluída em 30/06/2018, com a integração de todos os estados. Os contatos com o CVV são feitos pelos telefones 188 (24 horas e sem custo de ligação), pessoalmente (nos 110 postos de atendimento) ou pelo site www.cvv.org.br, por chat e e-mail. Nestes canais, são realizados mais de 2 milhões de atendimentos anuais, por aproximadamente 3.400 voluntários, localizados em 24 estados mais o Distrito Federal. Além dos atendimentos, o CVV desenvolve, em todo o país, outras atividades relacionadas a apoio emocional, com ações abertas à comunidade que estimulam o autoconhecimento e melhor convivência em grupo e consigo mesmo. A instituição também mantém o Hospital Francisca Julia que atende pessoas com transtornos mentais e dependência química em São José dos Campos-SP.
