Nous voulons tous manger plus sain et plus local mais avons-nous vraiment les moyens de le faire ? Aujourd’hui, le constat est effarant, les légumes voyagent en moyenne plus de 1500km et les consommateurs perdent le contact avec les agriculteurs. Cycloponics change cela. Nous créons de grandes fermes bio productives en plein cœur des villes en transformant des friches urbaines inoccupées. En 2016, nous avons transformé une ancienne poudrière à Strasbourg en ferme productive et durable, celle-ci produit près de 10 tonnes de légumes bio par an. Lauréat des Parisculteurs 2016, nous nous implantons dans Paris intra-muros en souterrain avec une surface de près de 4000m2 de souterrain. Un véritable défi pour nous qui à terme nous permettrait de produire 300 tonnes de légumes par an. Notre envie insatiable de nouveaux challenges nous a transporté à Bordeaux ou nous avons capturé une ancienne cave de 3000m2. Ces sites sont pour nous l’occasion de rendre la nourriture bio et saine plus accessible et d’instaurer une relation durable avec les consommateurs. C’est pourquoi nous nous efforçons d’avoir une gamme diversifiée, avec trois types de champignons (shiitakes, pleurotes et champignons de Paris), endives, micropousses et même des plantes aromatiques. Notre démarche est aussi sociale, participer à la transition des quartiers où nous nous implémentons est indispensable. Nos objectifs se résument en trois points : D’abord, construire la ville de demain, une ville plus verte et plus nourricière. Ensuite, lutter pour une production locale et saine, au juste prix et enfin, le plus important, nous voulons bâtir cette aventure avec vous, à vos côtés.
